Point system Table 2020. Points Required for Each Tier Based on the tier the candidate will have to allocate the necessary points which vary on the type of visa they are applying for. The required points may differ from each other as follows: Age: Depending on the age, one can allocate  5 to 20 points . The system privileges young applicants assessing them with more points than those older. English Language: Each applicant  must obtain 10 points  for English language ability. Nationals of countries where English  is an official language automatically obtain ten points, while nationals of other countries must first take a test to prove their English ability. July 20, 2020  By  Shelby Thevenot Ontario will begin accepting applications to the  Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream tomorrow, July 21. The  Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is expecting an influx of users to access the portal tomorrow. They say users may be placed in a priority queue, and if this happens it is not a technical error. The system will automatically prevent further registrations from being submitted once the limit has been met. People applying for this stream must access the OINP e-Filing Portal directly from the  government’s webpage . Click the button that says “Submit an application.” The OINP recommends not using a mobile phone to submit the application. CHANGES TO ESSENTIAL SKILLS WORK VISA SYSTEM AND IMMIGRATION NEW ZEALAND UPDATES Changes the Government  announced last year  to improve the  employer assisted temporary work visa system  are coming into effect on  27 July 2020 . Essential Skills work visas – Remuneration and median wage The combination of  ANZSCO  and salary to assess skill level is being replaced with a simple remuneration threshold, aligned to the national median wage calculated by Statistics NZ.
